Arjan de Boer

Indosuez Wealth Management

Head of Markets, Investments & Structuring Asia

Arjan de Boer is Head of Markets, Investments & Structuring, Asia at Indosuez Wealth Management. Arjan came onboard Indosuez in 2017 and was based in Hong Kong, then subsequently relocated to Singapore in 2022. In his role, he leads the regional investment strategy and is responsible for the full products and services offering in Asia.

Arjan started his financial career with Hollandsche Bank Unie serving Private, Corporate and Institutional clients within a dealing room environment, and subsequently became Head of Treasury & Special Products Private Clients in the Netherlands.

He was at ABN AMRO Private Banking for 14 years, with 7 of these in Asia, including being Regional Head of Treasury & Special Products for Private Banking Asia in Singapore, and then Head of Private Banking for North Asia, based in Hong Kong. Prior to his role at Indosuez in 2017, he was Head of North Asia at ANZ Private Bank before being appointed Head of Integration for ANZ Retail & Private Wealth Asia in 2016.
Arjan graduated with a Master of Science in Business Economics from Nyenrode University, The Netherlands.

Nicholas Cator

Venturi Partners

Founder and Managing Partner

Nick is the Founder and Managing Partner of Venturi Partners, a $180m growth fund focusing on Series B to D investments in the consumer space in India & South-East Asia. Prior to starting Venturi Partners, Nick was Managing Director at Verlinvest. He moved to Singapore end 2014 to open their Singapore office and was responsible for all investments in Asia and in consumer tech brands globally.

Nick’s focus has always been on investing in or working with brands in the FMCG, education, e-commerce and healthcare services sectors. While leading Verlinvest’s Asian investments he successfully deployed over $500M of capital in India, South-East Asia and China.  Nick is currently on the Boards of Livspace, Country Delight and Believe and was previously on the Boards of Byju’s, Lazada, Global Fashion Group, Chewy, Sula, Epigamia, Veeba, Armonea and China Resources Verlinvest Investment Fund (majority owner of Oatly pre-IPO). 

Nick started his career in London and New York in leveraged finance and private equity before joining Verlinvest in 2006. During his 13 years at Verlinvest Nick spent 5 years as an operator and as CEO of Armonea, one of the leading private nursing home operators in Europe with 15.000 residents and 8.000 employees.

Nick is Anglo-Belgian and holds a Masters in economics from the University of Louvain La Neuve in Belgium and has followed Executive courses at Insead and Stanford. 

Ward Giessen

AMEX Group

Chief Financial Officer and Head of Family office

Ward started his career at Kas Bank, where he gained broad experience at Treasury operations, working with its top institutional investor base. He has extensive experience and knowledge of the investment fund world. After finishing his MBA, Ward joined Amex group, the parent company of KRC Capital. Here, Ward is responsible for portfolio management of listed investments (equities, funds, etc.) as well as cash flow management. Furthermore, he looks after the funding, financing, and treasury services for several portfolio companies.

Ward has extensive experience advising other family offices and is Harvard educated on the topic of Family office operations and wealth management.

Dirk de Vlaam

For Generations To Come

Founder 

Dirk de Vlaam, has spent over 25 years in the investment sector. He recently moved to Singapore to start “For Generations To Come Pte. Ltd.,” a club for family offices and HNWIs to explore collaborative investment opportunities, share insights, and network.

Additionally, he leads DLDV Enterprises B.V., advising Dutch institutional investors on private alternative investments. His career includes senior roles at Sarona Asset Management, Triple Jump, Franklin Templeton and started his carreer at ABN AMRO. Dirk’s education includes programs from INSEAD, Oxford Saïd, CAIA and WMI.

He speaks multiple languages and has recently started learning Mandarin.

Dirk’s global perspective enriches his professional endeavors, making him a key connector in the investment industry.

gathering designed to foster open dialogue and exchange ofideas among leaders
and professionals across the Family office investment industry. To ensure the
event runs smoothly and all participants can engage freely and constructively,
we have established the following rules of engagement, in accordance with the
Chatham House Rule and our commitment to maintaining a professional and
respectful environment for all attendees.

Chatham House Rule

To encourage openness and the sharing of information,
this event operates under the Chatham House Rule. Participants are free to use
the information received during discussions but must not reveal the identity or
affiliation of any other participant. This rule is intended to provide
anonymity to all and to encourage the sharing ofinformation.

No Sales Activities

Attendees are strictly prohibited from engaging in any
form of sales activities, solicitation, or promotion of products or services
during the event. This event is intended for the exchange of knowledge and
networking, not for commercial activities or personal gain.

Professional Conduct

All participants are expected to behave in a
professional manner throughout the event. Respect for the opinions, privacy,
and personal space of others is paramount. We encourage constructive dialogue
and ask that all participants engage in discussions with an open mind and a
respectful attitude.

Confidentiality and Discretion

Given the closed-door nature of this event, attendees
are expected to respect the confidentiality of the discussions and the privacy
of their fellow participants. Information shared during the event should not be

No Recording

To maintain the confidentiality and integrity of our
discussions, no recording (audio, video,or photography) is allowed during the event without prior approval from the event organizers. 
The event organizers will take pictures for its archives and marketing purposes and display in the clubs’ app.

potentially being barred from future gatherings.
